The opportunity

A new future for a former care site.

Acquired through the Eden and RevCap joint venture in 2019, the former care home site offered the opportunity to create a new later living environment in an established West Sussex location.

The Eden approach

A scheme aligned with local demand.

Planning amendments progressed between 2024 and 2026 for a 77-home scheme, comprising 62 apartments and 15 cottages. Eden took 100% control of the asset in 2026, bringing design, viability and the long-term operating strategy together.

The programme

Delivery with a long-term purpose.

Construction is programmed from Q4 2026 over 24 months, targeting Q4 2028 delivery. The proposed strategy is to retain the homes for rental and manage their performance over the long term.
